Hyperspace lanes span the galaxy, inhabited by genocidal space-pirates ready to loot your starship and enslave your crew. It’s a vast galaxy of proud warrior races, dogmatic alien lifeforms and technological intelligences that can turn hostile at a moment’s notice!
